This course focuses on the use of mathematics to solve problems in contexts that involve financial modelling, graphical and network analysis, and growth and decay in sequences.

This mathematics course focuses on the use of calculus and statistical analysis. A strong background in algebra is essential for the successful completion of this course.

Students continue to build their fluency, problem-solving and reasoning in mathematics content across the three content strands: Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability

Students learn the fundamentals of chemistry; structure, properties and reactions. The topics studied include acids and bases, redox reactions and organic chemistry.

This course allows students to develop an understanding of the fundamentals on which accounting and financial management are based. Both theoretical and practical aspects of accounting and finance are covered.

The content covered in the Year 10 Advanced course includes more complex concepts for students to enrich their mathematical study whilst completing the maths content of Year 10.
